The inspiration behind GRIT ADHD Coaching

After a successful career spanning more than three decades in the corporate world, Patty Xenos, Founder and Coach at GRIT ADHD Coaching, decided to pursue her lifelong goal of becoming a social worker and psychotherapist specializing in ADHD and mental health. Her passion for supporting others, combined with a deep interest in neurodiversity and personal growth, led her to return to university and embark on a new career path dedicated to helping individuals thrive.

Our commitment to empowering you

Patty Xenos is currently completing her final year towards a Bachelor of Social Work at McGill University while pursuing additional training required for a future psychotherapy permit. A key milestone in this journey is completing the  ADHD coaching certification.  In August 2026, Patty completed the requirements from the ADD Coach Academy's Basic ADHD & Life Coach Training program. She is currently working towards the International Coaching Federation (ICF) accreditation, which she expects to complete by December 2026.

Our hands-on experience and dedication

Patty's commitment to this field extends beyond her academic studies. As an Intervention Worker at a crisis centre, she supported individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, and difficult life circumstances. She also facilitates an ADHD support group for adults and provides academic support to neurodiverse students. These experiences have provided valuable insights into the diverse needs of the neurodiverse community.

"I feel like everything you said speaks to me. All issues and insecurities all fall into exactly how you describe it. I give it my best, but it comes off as lazy. I've never felt more heard or understood within 30 minutes of meeting someone." -NB
